When I think of Spain, I think of every other warm placed locale in the world. Nice warm weather, beautiful atmosphere, warm sun beating down on you while your at the beach with a nice cold drink in hand. Sounds nice doesn't it? As well it should! I'm a big hot weather person. I would rather be hot and have AC than be cold and have heat or a fireplace. Although once in a blue moon a fireplace is nice too I guess. If you like warm weather, leisurely activities like golf, swimming or tennis or you just want to go sightseeing - Spain is the perfect location for all your needs. The weather in this location is usually warm with online about 30 days of rain per years.
So, sometimes it can get quite balmy but sometimes we like that! Sightseeing in Spain is one of the most popular activities amongst tourists. You can easily do an individual tour on your own or if you would like a guided tour there are places you can find online for more information. If I were you, I would try the guided tours because then you can make sure you see everything that there is to see - and you won't get lost along the way! A few of the sites I found recently give you an immense amount of information.
Everything from how to get to Spain, cheap tickets and nice places to stay to where to go, what to see and what to do.The sites also included travel news, tourist information, weather estimates, and my favorite little option - specific threads and articles on particular towns and cities. Literally any place you would want to go in Spain is on these forums. Let's take a look at a few:
Alicante - A Jewel In Spain's Crown - Alicante or Alicant (Valencian Catalan) is the largest city in the Costa Blanca region of Spain and is one of the most beautiful places you could wish to travel to if you take the time and the effort to explore the region and some of it's sheer beauty. Located between Murcia and Valencia, Alicante has some of the best beaches in Spain with San Juan, Muchavista and Campello beaches being real gems with beautiful, clean sea and sand which appeal to both families, couples and surfers alike with calm days and days when the waves can be quite high due to strong winds of late.
Enjoy The Beach At Costa Brava - There is so much that is out there in Barcelona. In particular, is the area of the Iberian Peninsula and Costa Brava. With so much historical significance and so much wonderful architecture to take in while on your trip you will have many things to do and enjoy while you are here. With all of the history that has been left behind by the Arab Visitors to the wonderful views of the French Coast off of the Mediterranean Sea you will feel welcome and entranced all at the same time.
The Cathedral of Seville - Let's start with the easiest landmark to find, the mighty "Giralda" tower. It gets its name from the huge metal weather vane, a female form (supposed to represent Fate). She is on bearings, and swings around as the wind changes direction - hence the name, 'giro' meaning a turn or revolving motion. This tower is Seville's greatest glory. Time and time again, as we become more familiar with the city's layout, we will spot the Giralda looming over rooftops as we make our way through outlying neighborhoods, always there to guide us back to the centre.
And that is just to name a few of the places you can find! You can also look for more specific information such as best places to go if you are traveling with children, best beaches to visit, most beautiful properties to stay at, guides, info about travel insurance, cheap holidays, taxes, etc. You really could go on a site such as this knowing nothing about Spain and leaving with a pocket full of information!
