In these hard economic times, many of us are searching for ways to supplement our income or replace lost income. Plant closings, down-sizing and out-sourcing have led us to seek non-traditional employment.
Working from home with a business making money online could be the answer!
Thousands daily go online to search for a business making money online, and work from home jobs and income, but typically find scams that take their money and leave them worse off. You have got to do your homework when committing to an investment of time and money online.
Recent Labor Statistics
In the third quarter of 2008, over 1,330 extended mass layoff events resulted in 218,158 separations in the US. Among the reasons for layoffs, separations due to both slack work and bankruptcies nearly doubled over the year; and layoffs due to business-ownership changes more than doubled, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor.
The job openings rate was little changed in September 2008 but has been trending downward over the last 12 months. At 2.3 percent in September, the job openings rate was at the lowest level since April 2004.
This is very disheartening news for the American workforce and frustrating for job seekers. The limited job market and the increasing need to supplement and/or replace lost income, sends more of us are looking for non-traditional employment online. The Internet has opened up a new market for an ever-increasing number of real jobs seekers and many work-from-home business opportunities.
Non-farm payroll employment fell by 240,000 in October, and the unemployment rate rose from 6.1 to 6.5 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today. October's drop in payroll employment followed declines of 127,000 in August and 284,000 in September, as revised.
Employment has fallen by 1.2 million in the first 10 months of 2008; over half of the decrease has occurred in the past 3 months. In October, job losses continued in manufacturing, construction, and several service-providing industries.
The increasing unemployment rates due mass lay-offs and the projected continued trends means the traditional job market is shrinking. These factors have created a demand to search the web for alternative sources of income. Many Americans are desperate to identify a resolution to their issues. An enormous number of us are struggling to care for our families, and the Internet is a welcome alternative.
Online Searches Increasing!
Researching Google and Word Tracker, two of the leading online search sources, shows there has been an ever increasing search for work-from- home jobs and business making money online opportunities. At the root of these searches is the desire to locate an income producer that works! There cannot be any mistake about the vast availability of offers, but which are legitimate. This is a question that must be addressed!
It frustrates me when I see people get fooled by get-rich-quick scheme websites on the Internet. And believe me, there are tons of them out there, waiting to snatch some victims. The Internet is literally so big, and there are so many marketers trying to make a quick buck from you, that you could spend ALL day, every day just chasing illusions of Internet riches.
If you only chase after those hyped up illusions every day, then you will never find what you are looking for. There does come a point where you have to take a small leap of faith and try something. However, do NOT allow flowery language or outrageous promises to get you to put your money down. In other words, you will have to do some work. Before you commit a penny to any work-from-home job, or business, be certain to research that company and its offer.
The Internet has been notorious for scams from the beginning, but it also provides us with a wealth of resources which can be utilized to assist us in identifying programs that do not work and those that do. They point-out those businesses and programs that generate $50 and those where we can make $5,000. They can tell you if a program provides support or not.
This is very important because most of us limited or no experience with online programs.
Do Your Homework!
So stop! Before you spend another dime on scams and bad investments online, seek out the web sites and organizations that review the good business opportunities available on the Internet. And, do not just look for the reviews of scams and bad companies out there- those are too many to list but include reviews that testify that a business is sound and will produce.
I share this because I have been where you may be going. In my search for a business, program and/or system that would produce the income I needed, I researched over 60 companies that provide real work from home jobs, and spent hundreds, if not thousands before I found the resources I am referring you to seek.
This is a serious venture and should not be taken lightly. There must be investigation of any prospective companies and leave no leaf unturned. You must address this like any other major purchase- what do they promise, and more importantly, how will they deliver? Do your contacting the Better Business Bureau, go to reviews and blogs online relevant to each proposed, or possible business venture, and check to be certain they each provide all the aforementioned required business success tools, i.e., great customer service and 24 hour support.
Most firms sell you the product and you find it impossible to speak to anyone with questions about the program which you invested your hard earned money in hopes of making money online from home. You cannot get answers to your issues on why something is not working and what you may have neglected. Over 85% of the so-called opportunities are guilty of such disregard, or out-right scams.
A shocking 81.6% were found to be scams! 81.6% of the websites (141 out of the 173) ranked so low in our evaluation (an SRA overall value below 65%) that they were labeled as scams, i.e. absolutely not recommended. And this is just the tip of the iceberg!
Our evaluation committee is putting together an extensive SRA findings report, which we plan to soon publish to expose the real extent of work at home scams and frauds on the internet.
What is the reality? The reality is that the hopes and dreams of honest people trying to make a better life for themselves are being preyed upon and shattered, day-in and day-out. Our latest findings indicate the average person looking for a legitimate work at home opportunity loses an average of $1,785 to scammers pockets. And the time wasted, the grief endured, and the lost income you could have made while falling prey to such scams is immeasurable.
Here is the good news!32 of 173 websites we reviewed (18.4% of them) were researched, tested, and determined to be legitimate, safe, and to deliver on their moneymaking promises!'-- Site Review Authority
There are some work from home reviews that only address the bad ones. What about the web sites and online businesses that are legitimate and are making people money? Should there be web sites and blogs that also represent the successful companies that offer excellent opportunities and great support? You bet!
There are websites and organizations dedicated to helping people find the best option for working from home. They go over each and every program listed and only the best work from home products will be listed there. The more stars the program has, the higher we ranked it on our list for profitability, easy setup and how long it took to setup the program.
Most are based on a five star system with 5 being the best score one can receive. Find these and then contact their customer service or support to test how they respond. You just want to find a "real" simple system to use to make some cash and start working from home like all of those other people are doing that you keep hearing about.
