To meet new people you have to be able to start a conversation and for some guys this is what takes the fun out of dating. Having to come up too a woman and start a conversation make a guy feel like he is being put on the spot and causes his insecurities to rise. Some guys would love to be able to walk up to a girl and just use conversation starters to discuss any topic under the sun. Their just seems to be something about a beautiful women however, that makes this almost impossible for him to do. Especially for men who lack the dating experience of their peers.

Guys you really need to take a deep breath get over your fears and just do it! Though you may think starting a conversation with a woman is difficult it is actually a walk in the park. Conversation starters are methods of getting a girls attention without making a spectacle of yourself. Guys you can start a conversation by trying any of these seven time tested and real man approved conversation starters the next time you see a girl at a club, park or mall.

1. Nonverbal communication:

To start a conversation you do not actually have to talk. If flirting, body language and eye contact is getting a woman to smile and start acting flirty with you, you have already stated a conversation just without words.

2. Comment on your surroundings: "Nice day today, don't you think?"

This approach works best at daytime where there is actually some scenery to see.
What works best at getting the woman responding to you is to ask her a question instead of making a statement. Statements are closed off statements; she could just nod her head and walk on. By using an open-ended question, you almost obligate her to make a response.

3. Issue a greeting: "Hello. How are you doing today?"

Greetings work as conversation starters because there is no guile or trickery. Greetings are also completely non-threatening making them ideal for use in any social situation where you meet women. Such as when stuck in a long line at the bank or while at a party.

4. Give a Compliment: "Those earrings are stunning against your creamy complexion. Do you know where I can pick up a pair for my mothers birthday present?"

Not only do you give her a compliment but you come off as a guy who values his family. She will probably be more than happy to give you instructions on how to find the earrings. Offer to thank her by taking her out for a meal.

5. Discuss a current event: "Can you believe that kid set fire to the elementary school?"

The current event should be a source of major news and something that she is sure to have heard about, the type of water cooler discussion that is passed around. Most time talking about weather and traffic can be boring and are not recommended when trying to date a woman. However, as a way to break the ice each can be effective, once you start talking you can easily switch the topic of conversation to something else.

6. Offer assistance: "Do you need a little help?

A courteous guy who is willing to help can be a turn on to women. This approach works in a store where you can offer to reach a heavy item on the top shelve or at the gym where you can offer a little personal coaching on how to operate the equipment.

7. Make it location specific: "That author is one of my favorites. Do you know if his new book is out yet? "

This works because you can talk about an item object or even person that is in your current surroundings. Obviously this approach works great at the library but it is also effective when looking to break the ice when women at museums and galleries and stores.

Once you have used conversation starters you have to be able to keep the discussion moving. After she issues a response, try to keep her talking, asking her questions that expand on your original question. You want to keep the conversation flowing rhythmically so ask questions that she will not have to think a lot about and be prompt with your own responses. After a few minutes, if she is still speaking to you flirting and body language should be used to develop your attraction even more.
