Whether you're new to article marketing, or more experienced, it pays to have support for your efforts. In the busy affiliate-marketing world, it's easy to engage in multiple marketing initiatives. When we do, we may not have the time to hone our article writing skills as is necessary. However, we do want our article writing efforts to shine. Readers demand quality content.
That's where article coaching comes in the picture. A good article distribution service will provide author coaching in one form or another. It doesn't matter what level you're at as a writer, it never hurts to receive good advice. You improve your writing this way, which means your content is better. Better content leads to more links back to your affiliate site.
How do the article distribution services out there measure up when it comes to author coaching? I found the results a little surprising during my research. My conclusion is that most are not offering much while others are at the opposite end of the spectrum.
A look at iSnare's website will tell you that they do not proactively promote an author coaching or help service. They do provide human review of articles submitted by users of their service. Their paid and Platinum members will have a human editor review a writer's work normally within a week of receiving an article.
This human review does ensure that an editor can notify an author if there are problems with an article's format or content. This feedback can help the writer create better content next time.
Another article distribution service is the Phantom Writers. Their website does not give too much information on whether they offer author-coaching services either. They do speak of human editors as well, who will check articles for common problems.
They do promise that they will review every article you submit and that they will contact you with questions or suggestions for a specific article. With this feedback, a writer does get some coaching on how to improve their article writing. They do not promote specific author help beyond this, however.
The article distribution service called EzineTrendz offers almost no specifics on their site in regards to author coaching. They do not advertise that they have any individual author coaching service. They promise that all articles are spell-checked. That's about it as far as going over an author's work.
They do not even indicate whether they get in touch with a writer to provide them with article writing and formatting suggestions. It seems they concentrate on the distribution end and are not heavily into the education of authors who submit to them.
With Article Marketer, a study of their site shows they have a more extensive author-coaching program. They support writers on a variety of fronts. They have their Article Marketer University, which is available to all who visit their portal. There are quite a few resources here.
An author wanting to improve their article writing for an article promotion initiative can access podcasts, teleseminars, and audio-on-demand lectures. These resources provide the latest news concerning article writing, and article and Internet marketing. Many teleseminars are by known experts in the article-marketing field.
Article Marketer also offers several free e-books. With these, authors can access expert information that will help them to improve as article marketers and writers. Of course, as do some of the other services, Article Marketer does provide human editors for an authors content. These editors will go over each article submitted to them and look for those writing, content, and formatting errors. Their editors will then personally get in touch with a writer to offer their advice on how an article can improve.
A good article distribution program will provide the human and other resources that coach authors to success. Take the time to investigate what each article distribution service has to offer in terms of author coaching and training resources. Then choose the one that will help you be the best article writer and affiliate marketer you can be.
