I always thought vacation type opportunities were the best ops to get into, after all around 85 million people travel during the summer months alone and this doesn't count for the other months during the year! It's true though, travel services, products, items, and websites receive about 86 billion dollars in revenue alone. Now it doesn't matter what your selling, as long as its travel related, its bound to go over well with consumers. It could be selling plane tickets, vacation packages, premium memberships to resorts or anything else. You can assume if its got to do with travel or vacationing people will bite. So listed below I have comprised a small but honest list of travel systems that are legit and will work for you. Of course there are more you can join or check out, but in my personal experience, these are the ones you will have "luck" with so to speak.
Network Resorts -
This is the first fully interactive travel program accessible nowadays via the Net. With access to more than 5,000 choice resorts worldwide. As a member, bookings and confirmations are at your fingertips through their site. Offers members a life-time of luxury travel at below wholesale rates. It also offers admittance to luxury resorts that usually require a timeshare purchase.
These are not budget accommodations! This is not the typical list of budget resorts you may have found throughout the Net, desperately fighting for your business in the off-season. Our members have access to 4 and 5 star resort properties any time of the year at below wholesale rates, along with superior customer service. You will need to put together a marketing campaign. Get together with your sponsor and come up with a game plan, nationwide ad co-ops, newspaper ads, network marketing magazines, Internet advertising, etc. This is one site where you can really end up making a residual income and in all likelihood one of the best I have seen thus far! Highly recommended!
YTB - Your Travel Business
I did join this awhile back but got side tracked with my other side The Lemon Plum, so I didn't fully immerse myself in YTB but, I can tell you that the people that do really get into this business, do succeed and do make money from it. The YTB companies offer two unique and powerful opportunities that of referring travel agent or "RTA" and that of independent marketing representative or "REP".
The travel agent opportunity has an initial fee under $500 and a monthly license fee of $49.95. There is no fee or travel agency purchase required to be a REP. You may choose to participate in one or both opportunities. This means you can either earn as a person who refers other members to the op or you can earn selling the "membership" system to other people or both. If you choose to do both there's a pretty hefty fee but you can then also have double the chance to make it all back. It really depends on what you want, what you are capable of and what you can afford.
Bit.Ly/Journeys Away -
Like I said this is more of an affiliate program than anything else but you can earn money nonetheless on car rentals, hotels, resorts, airfare, cruises and much more. This one is free but as I have found out the ones that make you pay like Network Resorts are the ones where you will have more of a chance for people to sign up under you or to make a sale with them.
Still this is the best free one I have seen around and I have tried many, let me tell ya! You get a free website which you can customize completely, along with the ability to use your own domain name and add any sort of things to the site that you want such as your home page link (which I have added), AdSense ads, banners, etc. This site is a sister of the official Hotels website so they are legit! They offer over 44,000 hotels offering special Internet rates, packages, city/hotels worldwide, and much more!
You can join one, you can join all three. It doesn't really matter, as long as you visit the sites and see what you are comfortable with then, I did my job! All of those sites listed above have their own comp plan, own fees and their own information and support. If I had to "rank" these I would keep them listed as they are. Network is by far the creme ala creme, the best of the best. YTB was a little slow to start, comp plan is a little confusing but the company and sponsors are really nice and very helpful and lastly the third one, is in a game all on its own since it's not really even a system to begin with, but still a superb site to check out!
