The world has a fever, most scientists of diamond minds can agree. Coal for brains want more studies to delay. Mostly we can see: Katrina type weather, hurricane seasons extending and each time more fearsome, spreading drought in some areas, floods unknown in others. And meanwhile we build more coal burning plants that are not yet equipped with existing technology to make the new coal plants burn clean. And so, particularly in China many wear masks when in the outside downtown or factory town area.

Each new factory requires the army move more thousands off their farms, and the blue sky above is soon grey as twilight all day long. China is the most polluted country on earth now by far, and becoming worse by the day. Is China doing anything right? Yes, they are. Even amidst our horror at their treatment of their own people, not much kinder than the batons on heads of monks in saffron robes in Tibet. The cameras have not yet shown us how the soldiers move the Chinese off their farms, we hear pushing is involved, riots, tears.

But the cameras are now there in Tibet, we get to see the not very gentle heart of coal eyed soldiers, as they show little emotion as they beat monks with batons. Although sometimes, when we see them get off the train from China, stretch, strut down the main street, and run at saffron robed men, do we see emotion in their eagerness to show that the East Side Gang have taken over the joint as they rush across the streets to hit monks walking by, scattering them like a wolf would gentle sheep.

But another British camera was allowed to interview a Chinese farm family of four, who are beneficiaries of a diamond of an idea, several really, from the official China we all criticize some times as all bad. They are not. This family is, we are told, one of the first of one hundred million farm families in poorer districts of China to be provided with this revolutionary, yet so basic, solution for good health around the good earth.

We should all support this, an inexpensive initial step to global cooling, helping desert people to plant, not strip trees for firewood and thus help spread, not shrink the killing desert. And this would allow a gas stove to boil filthy into healthy drinking water around the world. This miracle cup is a large round cement tub placed in the ground on a solid base. It is open at the top, and has a wooden lid. There are two plastic pipes entering, one plastic pipe coming back out. This is all the family, and animal waste, going from toilets to this tub, where we see it bubbling and fermenting into methane gas.

We follow the proud farmer, one of the first in his region to receive this miracle, as he shows how the plastic tube runs neatly, almost unseen around the rafters, and then down the kitchen wall and connected to a simple gas stove. Inside the wife is preparing dinner, and we see her switch on the gas stove and pour her vegetables, noddles, and pork or chicken into the wok. They are feeling very rich, as they now can also boil their drinking water from the polluted water supplies. Now they are the only neighbors who are all healthy.

Their children never miss school any more for soughs and stomach pains, cramps, as many neighbor children with stomach infections suffer. The wife explains through an interpreter that before they spent many hours searching for sticks for firewood, or coal from the hills. Now they have time for a walk in the evening, more time for repairs to their farm tools, or improvements to their home. The home is no longer full of smoke, she has never felt more healthy, she does radiate beauty and health.

What are we waiting for, world? If China is now providing one hundred million of these, then richer us should be arranging, through the United Nations, one or two billion of these be sent where they will do the most good. Not which dictator gets three for every person and the neighbors get none. If each desert family received one such energy and clean water source from their own effluence, can you see what I see? Blue sky and healthier people, more productive, more a real part of modern humanity.

Let's cut the crap, or use it more wisely, and get off the pot on this, toot sweet. And in their spare time, let's get them on a desert plant reforestation program. Plant, not cut and strip bark off trees to burn as fuel to cook and eat. Instead, it could be: you want a nice warm stove top clean burning gas dinner, again? Get thee to the Throne Room, Sampson, the stove seems low on gas. And I would love to boil some water for tea. You are our Diamond Taurus, Sampson, so full of it. Go have a full diamond blast. Please?
