Part 1
Though, as children grow older, their peers exercise greater influence. The behavior of the adjacent community towards its populace is also very significant. At home, children observe whether their parents or guardians delight in their work, whether they are closed minded or give the benefit of the doubt, play fair. An ethical mind transforms admiration for others into something more conceptual. As an individual with an ethical mind, I tend to ask myself what kind of a citizen, person, or worker I aspire to be. If every individual did what I do or asked themselves the same question, then the world would be amazing.
It is vital to make a clear difference between the ethical and respectful mind due to the fact that an individual who is ethical is respectful and vice versa. I suppose one can be respectful and devoid of understanding why. This may happen because as a child, one might have respected his or her parents, guardians, and grandparents since he or she was taught to do it. Nevertheless, ethical ideas and behaviors call for a specific power that surpasses one’s experiences as a person. As soon as I have developed an ethical mind, I have turned out to be an independent observer in a team, citizenry, an organization as well as in the world at large. In addition, I may perhaps be forced to forgo respect for other individual, if my role as a citizen or a worker demands me to retain control in order to safeguard a concept or institution that I believe in.

I believe I have an ethical mind. This can be explained by the fact that the ethical mind is not a thing that I ought to develop early in life. It does not imply I should not be respectful, it also does not mean that I should not behave as a smart individual, and it does not entails I should not live morally, but for me to think ethically, I have to be in a position to think of myself conceptually. For example, in order to demonstrate that I have an ethical mind, I consider the nature of my work and the expectations of the society regarding my life and deeds. Therefore, my role as a student at community school entails certain responsibilities.
Among the five minds that Gardner puts forth, I regard myself as a person with an ethical mind. The five minds as pointed out by Gardner basically refer to the five features of the mind that he proposes every individual must strive to develop. While not every person will be in a position to improve them all to the same extend, we must aspire to develop some of them to keep stability of mind for the future. Every mind has been crucial traditionally, however, it will turn out to be more important in the future. On the one hand, having these minds, an individual is perhaps well armed to tackle what is anticipated, including what cannot be expected. On the other hand, with the lack of these minds, an individual will perhaps depend on forces that he or she will fail to comprehend as well as control.
These five minds are the disciplined mind, the creating mind, the ethical mind, the synthesizing mind, and the respectful mind. I can relate well with the ethical mind since I am in a position to combine the roles of a citizen and a student and act in accordance with idealization, determined to be a good citizen and perform well in my studies. We all aspire to live in a world that is featured by work that is outstanding, ethical, and inspiring. We all try to be loyal individuals who exemplify an ethical point in whatever we do. This ethical approach must also entail civic responsibilities, whereby each person must fulfill the obligation to work individually to develop consciousness in a strong community everyone can delight in.
For me as an ethical leader, the best way to preserve an ethical scope is to do everything that is necessary for the good of my organization. The questions that emerge in my mind are: what I am trying to attain, what my objectives are, what the pure logic of good in the world is. As soon as I comprehend these inquiries, I should hold my viewpoints steadfastly from the beginning and attach incentives and approvals to their consciousness. When everything is running smoothly, it is possible to stay open and help others to be open to high values as the costs are not apparent. However, when situations entice me to compromise my principles, I ought to perform a thorough examination on my-honesty. Being ethical implies that one does not deceive themselves or others. As each individual may perhaps possess strengths in one area or the other, we must all strive to extend the stability of the mind. In essence, the development of the five minds is a single approach to bold tackling of the volatile future.
