A CUSTOMISED TRIP TO KILIMANJARO
Located in Northern Tanzania of Eastern Africa, not far from the border of Kenya, Mt Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world. From the peaks of Mt Kilimanjaro you can see Africa at a different perspective. Through the trek you will traverse through rich forest, discover an enticing array of wildlife and gorgeous scenery along the way and be rewarded by incredible vies from Uhuru Peak.

MARANGU ROUTE
This 5 day climb is the most popular and direct of the Kilimanjaro routes, passing through vast grasslands, gigantic cacti fields and alpine meadows set against dramatic mountain peaks. It’s the only route where camping is not needed, with trekkers sleeping in huts dotted along the way. The 35 kilometre uphill walk is well maintained and views from the summit are striking.

DAY 1
Your hike begins at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro close to the ancient Chagga caves. Your trip starts with a full briefing and kit inspection by a professional climber.

DAY 2
You will hike from your hotel to Mandara Hut. At the Marangu Gate you will have to register as a group, and complete several formalities. It is a long but easy walk through the dense rainforest, amidst the African flora, fauna and through giant heather to Mandara Hut (2,725 M).Visit the Maundi Crater.

DAY 3
This is a long steep hike covering a distance of 12km (5-7 hours). In this trek the rainforest will give way to open and rolling alpine meadows dotted with giant heather trees. Once out of the forest canopy, the twin snow – tipped peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi lie directly ahead. Then traversing through several ravines and changing landscapes you reach the Horombo Hut.

DAY 4
It is a 10 km walk through the rugged and rocky landscapes and moorland. Arrive at the stark lunar landscape of Saddle, and reach the Kibo Hut (4,740m).

DAY 5
The 6km trek begins beneath the stars up tom the Gilman’s Point .Enjoy the breathtaking view of the sun rise behind Nawenzi Peak. Trekking in this stretch is difficult and the weather very cold. You have to walk further along the rim of the crater to Uhuru Peak (5,896 M), the highest point in Africa. Just enjoy the amazing breathtaking views of the craters and ice fields.

DAY 6
Continue you descent to Mangaru through the alpine forest to the park gate and board on your transport.
