During the safari you might spot Sloth Bear, Chinkara, Leopard, Dhol, Black Stork, Whistling Teal, Spotted Dove, and Rock Pigeon and so on. In total it has 22mamal species and 250 avi fauna species. WAYANAND WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
It is a beautiful animal sanctuary in the district of Wayanand where the tourists can enjoy wildlife experience. The sanctuary was part of The Project Elephant which is why you come across herds of elephant. Bamboo groves comprising with deciduous forests is another key attraction. Visitors can enjoy a Jeep safari ride with trained guide. Being rich in bio-diversity this place is very important tourist spot in Kerala.
