While thinking about complex issues like racism and Islamophobia, solutions are hard to put together in terms of being realistic and straight forward. What ever solution is put to action, it must be a collective effort from all parties, including the media, politicians, religious leaders, educators, and of course, the common man and woman.

As complex as these solutions are, they require simple actions from individual parties, and all those simple actions ultimately come together to complete one complex solution.

One main solution to changing the way people see and think about race is through education, starting with the youngest form of education to promote a multicultural and multi-religious accepting society everywhere around the world. This education solution has many side to it:

Legislators must work together to promote policies that will be geared to teaching kids about different cultures. This has to be done from a law point of view in order to jump-start thing.

Educators and teachers must receive specific multicultural training in order to be able to teach the new proposed curriculum that will focus on the past history of racism in their respective country and around the world, showing the negative effects of racism in order to create a completely and nonnegotiable, negative connotation of the word Racism. This also goes for education against Islamophobia too in a much more improved manner, as it's a much newer phenomena compared to traditional racism.

The media must also take part in educating the public with correct information, and not merely telling, but also showing correct things. It's obvious that many people watch television, go online, and listen to the radio on a daily basis around the world. This mass attraction is a perfect vehicle of positive change and paradigm shifts everywhere. The media is often seen as bias, which is true for the most part, but they also have the power to influence.

These are not complete solutions by any chance, as the issues are far more greater and more complex in reality, but the point is that any proposed or possible solution will take an effort from many sides and points of views in order to be effective. A collective effort is the key to positive change, and we should all work together to better our cities, our towns, our states, our countries, and our world. Together.
